Writer's Block: Copy and paste

This aleady happened to me artwise. Someone stole one of my fanarts at DA, altered it and posted it as their own. I was of two moods. The first was, ugh someone stole my art, the second mood was, wait someone thinks my crap is worth stealing? So I was annoyed and flattered.
If it was written work then there will be hell to pay. I will do anything and everything possible to prove that they stole it and make sure they get their just desserts no matter what it will take: lawyers, private investigators, friends who knows a friend who know's a guy in Jersey that has a cousin who has friends that can do it, getting digitized and going into the freaking web to find the info that I need. I would do anything.

I'm very pleased with the pose. I was inspired by this one kick ass pose of Tron from the Betrayal comic.

She also likes papaya.
She claps and points and when it's sunny we go outside and she crawls around the grass.
In art news I have been doing a lot of TRON related fanart. Pretty much Legacy related so don't click if you don't want to be spoiled.

First the Scary. My brother texted me this morning about the school shooting at the University of Texas, holy crap. I don't have many words for that.
Second the weather. Again it was perfect. I love these temperatures we have been having and I am so glad I do not live in the L.A. area. Holy crap again. I wonder if anyone tried to cook an egg on the sidewalk.
Third. Kaitlin went wee wee into her bath water and the second that happened she wanted to get out of the tub and was crying because she wanted to splash but not in that water. Who could blame her. The second I got her out and I got rid of the pee water and put in some fresh water and she stopped crying the second she was set down in the fresh clean water she calmed down and began to splash around.
Fourth the asshole. Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear is an asshole. He pissed me off the other day. He asked an audience member what kind of accent she had and she said American.
"You can't be American. Your not fat." Not funny jackass. If you wanted to go with the funny you could have said she wasn't loud, obnoxious, or arrogant.
Fifth: updated my site. Gave the main page a whole new look. Created an area for my fanfics and not just my garg fics. Made a whole new site banner also

Autumn arrived last night. We will be dropping of Kaitlin with her paternal grandparents tonight. We will be heading to Pensacola tomorrow. In November the baby will be on her first roadtrip to Orlando to visit her other grandparents and her Uncle Buster.
Last night I cooked a good dinner. I made fried chicken using the thighs and Panko aka Japanese bread crumbs. There is this mashed potatoes in a bag thing that I made. You take the bag, steam it in the microwave for ten minutes, then you dump the taters into a bowl, add milk and butter and mash away. Didn't have any gravy so I mixed in some minced garlic, parsley and basil. Third dish was some corn mixed with sauted red bell pepper.
Watched Planet 51 last night. Cute movie with The Mac as the hero. Also had Stifler and the Rock in it. Very cute and had several funny moments.
I also did some art. This took a few days to put together.

Bayou city art fest.
Mar. 28th, 2010 10:38 pmWe went to the art fest today. Took Kaitlin along. She seemed to enjoy it a bit. She got some nice fesh air.
Saw lots of neat art, paintings, sculptures, pottery, wood work, leather work, glass work, digital art, jewelry work, etc.
The food area was called the art of food. We had the art of America food for lunch...which was basically sliders and waffle fries and for dessert the art of chocolate. Will had a slice of chocolate dipped cheesecake and a dipped cookie and his mother and I had the chocolate sampler: Pieces of pineapple, strawberries and a soft pretzle stick with a small cup of melted chocolate to dip it in.
My hips got sore from the walking, but a soak in the bath tub helped.

I defended something Twilight based.
I found this through one of my Watch Friends. Her cousin posted a drawing of movie based Edward and Bella. It was a realistic drawing and pretty good.
The first comment the poor kid got was from a jerk who basically called the drawing a terrible picture based on a terrible movie and book.

Since I'm not a fan I don't go seeking out fanart or fanfic based on it. I just look at art and read fics based on the fandoms I like and I offer concrit and ask a few questions if I'm not clear on something.

Ok that's uncalled for. I'm not a fan of the book or the movie, but I don't go around to fanart of movies, books TV series etc of what I don't like and to flame the artist, and yes that is a flame. There is a difference between constructive criticism and a flame.
