My Mental Sanctuary

Amusing bumper sticker we saw today. "Single women can't fart. They don't have an asshole until they are married."

Decided to try this new kind of breading that combines the crumbs with cheese. I used an Italian based blend for the chicken along with some French Fried onions and oven dried basil. The chicken turned out great and we had it with some spaghetti and sauce.

My fall allergies are kicking up and I'm sniffling and sneezing and just popped in an antihistamine

Cornmeal pancakes.

I just made them and they are yummy topped them with butter and honey, and now that I have cornmeal in the house I will be making cornbread muffins.

I've never seperated or folded before, eggs that is. I also never grated a lemon rind before and I'm so glad that I did. The scent alone was worth it.

I made cream cheese souffle pancakes and topped them with sliced strawberries and strawberry jelly. These are so light and fluffy and yummy.
