In the writers comentary for Dead Man's Chest they said the captain that Mercer killed was Jim Hawking's father from Treasure Island.

Bzzzt wrong, in the book Jim's father died from Consumption.

Now that idea would have worked better for Treasure PLANET, and then I got to thinking how the characters from PotC would appear in TP.

Elizabeth and Will would be human(not to mention both Will and Jim both only use 3 expressions) and Ragetti would be a robot.

Norrington was easy to figure out, he and Amelia are very similar and I can see them as brother and sister.

I drew Norrington as is first, and then altered his fatures to be more alien cat like.

I see Jack with avian features since his last name is Sparrow, and I would draw him as a male harpy. I wouldn't put a beak on that gorgeous face.
