While shopping around at Kohls I heard a song called "I want an alien for Christmas."

That certainly put me in the holiday mood/.

Had a pretty good Valentines weekend. We did most of the celebrating on Sunday since Will had to work yesterday, making sure everyone got their flowers and candies delivered.

He got me some Godiva. A set of dessert truffles and a box of the milk chocolate collection. Yeeeeum. I had a gift card for Kohls and some actual paper cash on me so I used that to get him some nice new t-shirts, including a glow in the dark Ghostbusters shirt.

Then I hopped over to Wally World and bought me a couple of TRON related goodies, I got a recognizer and a Clu figure. As I was checking out the cashier asked me. "Are these for your little man, or for your big man?"
"They are for me actually."

We got a nice new white shelf for my dragon winged faeries I got for Christmas. I put the faeries on the shelf and Clu and the Recognizer.

We dropped Kaitlin off at Grandma's and we went to the north part of Houston, to the nearest Steak and Shake. We had coupons. I had a frisco melt with fries and a mint cookies and cream shake.

Last night Will can home with some Girl Scout cookies

Kaitlin has only one more week left to sleep with the bar on her feet, hopefully just one more week. She's walking, holy mac and cheese she is walking, er toddling now and she moves better than Maggie Simpson.

Loved the latest House.
"Champagne for everyone." And he leaves the bar.

Now for the big Christmas post.

Went over to the Will's parents with the gifts from my parents and the gifts we got. We started out with a delicious meal of ham, turkey, lasagna, mashed potatoes, veggies, bread rolls and cranberry sauce.

Then came the gifts. We helped Kaitlin open several of hers before she got too tired.(she opened the rest today) Then we opened ours.

I got the Black Dagger Brotherhood books, Buffy the complete series on DVD, a pair of sexy suede and leather boots, two new pretty shirts, yummy Barnies coffee, new jewelery, a coffee dispenser, a Comfy which is like a Snuggy, a Caress shower set, a set of pretty fairy figurines, gift cards, a grooming set and cake in cup gift that is for me and Will to share.

Kaitlin made out like a bandit. She got a pony, not a real one. She got a little rocking pony. The pony part is plush and it talks. She also got a stuffed Tigger, Shoney's mascot, a Ragedy Anne, A Violet Puppy from Leap Frog, a new Sippy Cup, The Princess and the Frog on DVD, several books, a talking and singing purse set, a plastic ride on car, several clothes, a baby stacking toy and a baby laptop.
The laptop is plush and comes with a mouse that looks like a squeak squeak mouse and there is a disc that is crackle crunchy and can slide into the side. Inside has lots of stuff. It plays musci and animal sounds, teaches her numbers and colors and there are little plush shapes that she can take out. There is also a little envelope with a little I <3 U message on it.(E-mail)

She really loves her laptop and her books. That makes me happy that she loves her books so much. She likes to open them and turn the pages.

Kaitlin slept in her playpen and Will and I slept on the couch. We had beneits for breakfast. Will's mom got a Wii with Wii sports and Wii resort for Christmas. We used the Wii to access Netflix and watched Time Bandits before the sports was broken out.

While I caught a small nap Kaitlin had managed to wiggle off her cast. I have go out first thing on Monday to get it put back on.

Had a good turn out last night. Over 20 trick or treaters as opposed to the four we had the previous year, of course now more houses have been built in our area.

We pureed a taco from taco bell and fed that to Kaitlin last night with some of her usual fruit for dessert. Loved the comments Will made about the appearance of the stuff.

Well hon, lets just say the outcome wasn't pretty either and boy that was a fun odor as well.

Kaylee has earned lots of good points with me today. She hopped from window to window and killed about three or four creepy crawlies.

and I came across something interesting.

Supernatural...the anime.

if it ever gets dubbed and due to the popularity of the show I can see that happening the only ones I can see voicing Sam and Dean are of course Jensen and Jared.

Horror movies are not my favorite genre but I will still watch them especially this time of year. Going through the watch it now on Netflix and get up a good list.

Now for a while when I was a kid I didn't like em. I didn't want to see them. Not because they scared me or anything it was the fact that I was afraid to be afraid. FDR was right.

That line of thinking was of course stupid since I was able to watch a whole lotta of scary movies and not get scared, not one little bit. I blame my parents on that. They got me desensitized at an early age. I blame them but I still love em for it.

I think my main issue with a lot of horror movies is the gore factor and I can handle all of that except for one thing that squicks me beyond all squicky things.

I can watch the that guy peel is face off in Poltergeist while eating shrimp in marinara sauce.

Billy Cole melting away in the original Fright Night No problem. That one guy that was full of bugs in the sequel? Bring it.

All that gross stuff in The Fly? No big.

The one thing I can't stand is bisecting. Ugh. That just squicks me out like nothing. When I was younger it was severed body parts now it's people being cut in half. It's the reason why I have to look away during certain scenes in Resident Evil, Ghost Ship and13 Ghosts guh...shudder.

Speaking of Horror. If you are a fan of the genre or are just in the mood for it because of the season then check out Creepy Kitch My friend [livejournal.com profile] cinsangel Co runs it. They talk about all sorts of horror related stuff from the campy and cheesy to the down right you need a change of undies type of scary.

On the not so scary vein...probably will also watch Nightmare before Christmas

and on the not scary and very cute. My one dragon is almost grown up and I managed to grab two of the new black eggs.

Great Holiday. We had hot dogs, burgers, potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans, and raw veggies and dip and fresh cut fruit.

Four of us went to see the fireworks. It was me, Will, his mother, and Kaitlin. Kaitlin was so quiet she didn't cry at all until the end with the grand finale. We saw a good variety, some of them made shapes like rings, hearts, smiley faces, and stars, some of them made it look like the blew up Edward cause after they exploded the sky was filled with sparkles.

Cards made out and sent.

Gifts bought and wrapped.

I baked gingerbread yesterday.

I am still sick and feel like I'm about to cough up my lungs hell. Today I coughed so hard I gave myself a headache.

More tummy problems, but this is my fault. I just had several slices of pizza with jalapenos. My tongue may be iron clad, but not my tummy.

We went out earlier to Target. I finished up my holiday shopping and got some cough syrup. I was carded for cough syrup. WTF? There was no alcohol in it either.

I'm going to take care of the burn in my tummy with some ice cream.

Yesterday Revel and I went to Target, mostly to look around for stuff and pick up a few gifts for some friends. I bought a wreath for our apartment, a spiral notebook for writing on the bus, and several cards for family.

Then we went to Best Buy to pick up a gift card for Revel's father, and he bought the latest Ace Combat game.

Then we went to get food. When we got to the soda aisle I noticed a new DR Pepper flavor, Cherry Chocolate. I had to try it and it tastes pretty good.

I also got my baking supplies. I baked up the sugar cookies and decorated them and I baked up a loaf oof banana nut bread.

I got the gifts for my grandparents wrapped up and already prepared some of the cards.

Already got my Christmas icon.

You know that meme where everyone takes on of their icons and paints on a santa hat?

I decided to BUCK the trend and do Rudolph instead and thus we have Mimette the red nosed bimbo.

To all my friends in the US.

Have a good Thanksgiving and try not to get too turkey stoned.

It feels like November today.

I baked a batch of chocolate chip Pumpkin cookies.

Tomorrow I'm celebrating Buy Nothing Day.

Second of all, Happy 4th of July.

Yeah, we are not perfect, our current government could use a bit of retooling, as in removing the tool in the Whitehouse, but we got an awsome past.

We have the Perry brothers

We have the Wright Brothers

We planted the flag on the moon.

And after a few road trips I have seen some purple mountains that were magestic and amber wavyes of grain, as well as corn.

Happy 231th birthday America.

More stuff

I have been having some strange dreams lately.

two nights ago I dreamed I had a nasty bug on my hand and before I could flick it off a mantis climbed onto my arm and killed the bad bug. Then another mantis crawled onto my arm and they decided to mate then and there. "Oh no, no breeding and canibalism after." I shook them off, and there were other critters on my hand and arm and I didn't know until they fell off, including lizards. WTF? Was I stoned in my dream?

Then I was in an arcade, except it was kiddified. I looked into an other room and there were more games, better games, including skiball, and there was a booth selling yummy looking stuff. I went into the other arcade, but right after I told Greg Weisman where I was going.

Last night I dreamed I was wrestling some British guy. I can't remember what he looked like except he was bald and had the accent. The funny thing was he was wearing a ridiculous outfit with stars and stripes and I was wearing the Union Jack, oh and I kicked his ass.

Last night I made this thing for Velvet cause she wasn't eating well. It was a custard made from milk, butter, egg, and mashed up cat food. She ate a little last night and some this morning.

We also took her to a regular vet. She said it might be a pinched nerve since she didn't feel the pinch test. The vet said to keep her movements restriction, get her a low cat littler pan, and make a little fence for her and a food and water dish.

Got material from Target for her. Cardboard display board, several of them to make into a border along with a bit of rope. I also got a couple of At World's End figures: Jack Sparrow and Norrington. I also needed a steering wheel cover, and I picked a pink one because it was the lightest color and thus absorbs less heat. I swear I am getting married to Steve Taylor cause Will kept giving me a hard time because it was pink.

"I am not driving your car anymore," and "You are paying for this stuff for certain." All because of the color...men.
