Kaitlin's party was a smash...which is what she did to her cake.
My grandparents came Saturday and Kaitlin loved showing off for them. My Nana and Papa bought her a new little clothing set and Disney DVD's. Kaitlin now owns Pinochio, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins and Pete's Dragon.When Will got home we all went to Chili's. I did the rib and shrimp combo. Kaitlin had her usual food.
After Kaitlin went to bed we played cards.
Sunday we went to Denny's for breakfast. I had the banana's foster French Toast and they had oatmeal as a side and we got that for Kaitlin. She hate some of it and tried to paint the table with some of it.
Chilles at the place for a bit and gave Kaitlin some nap time. Then we went to Will's mom's for the party. First we did the babie's baptismal. There was plenty of holy water, lots left over so that if turns out to be a vampire apocolypse and not a zombie one then we will be prepared.
After the baptismal we gave Kaitlin the rest of her presents. She got a cool stuffed caterpillar that is soft and shiny, My Baby Can Read, an inflatable punch and wobble penguin and two toys that make noise and music, and a onesie that says Potential Slayer. Then we had dinner.
After dinner we brought out the cake and it was a red velvet cake. Kaitlin ate it, grabbed chunks, squished it in her fingers, smooshed it on her face and painted the table and the chair with it.
My grandparents had to leave after the pictures were taken, but I enjoyed having them down here and can't wait to see them again.
