Kaitlin had some Grandma time while Will and I endulged in some cheese.

first the bad cheese.

Resident Evil: Afterlife. First one I saw all the way through. I like the fact that they had both Wesker and Chris in this movie. Also got to see the Tron Legacy Trailer. That would be a definate for us along with Harry Potter.

There was only a 3D option so we watched that. No head aches yay. I haven't seen a movie in 3D at the theaters since Jaws 3D and I didn't take the glasses off because I was afraid back then. I took them off because I was squicked out at that severed arm that was floating in front of me.

Then we had some good cheese. Grimaldi's pizza. My husband recieved an e-mail coupon for a large one topping dine in pizza. We printed out the coupon and ate there. I also ordered some antipasta for the both of us.

Resident Evil Afterlife. Yeah, it was a good movie. Had some elements from RE5. Ali 'smoking' hot' Larter came back. And it was a decent action flick.\

*SPOILER*

My only complaint? NO NAKED MILLA JOVOVICH. Boooooooo!!!!!

You paid money to see that crap?

"Inception" is still playing in most theaters, why not see that?

"The Town" is getting rave reviews, why not see that?

I mean... gods, the movie you saw is being rated even lower than M. Night's latest bile, "Devil."

'RE Afterlife' and 'Devil' weren't THAT bad. But, then, I'm biased. Been a horror fan for the last 20+ years.

Aside from the above mentioned, what movie(s) do you consider to be worthwhile?

Dude, those don't even qualify as horror movies. They're idiot movies. Good horror movies really make you think. Like "The Shining," "Rosemary's Baby," "Psycho," "Alien," "Halloween" (the first one ONLY), "Carrie," "The Exorcist."

When you think of horror, don't think of this "Saw" crap that keeps people stupid. Think of Alfred Hitchcock. Hitchcock knew horror. All "Saw" will ever be is torture porn for un-evolved troglodytes.

Movies I consider worthwhile? You will probably think most of the movies on my list are boring and never watch them, but:

Casablanca
The Godfather
The Godfather Part II
Pulp Fiction
Citizen Kane
Reservoir Dogs
Titus
Bonnie and Clyde
There Will Be Blood
Goodfellas
The Lord of the Rings
Lost In Translation
A Clockwork Orange
The Last Temptation of Christ
Richard III (the Ian McKellan version)
True Romance
Annie Hall
The Big Lebowski
The Shining

Raiders of the Lost Ark
On the Waterfront
Vertigo
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Amadeus
All About Eve
Sunset Boulevard
Moholland Drive
Lost Highway
Blue Velvet
Chinatown
Alien
Aliens
Changeling
The Royal Tenenbaums
Inglourious Basterds
Serenity
Inception
Harold and Maude
High Fidelity
Sid and Nancy

You can if you want. I'm always up for a movie-themed discussion. Anyways, 'idiot movies' can be fun if you're looking to just kill time, not think, and just enjoy the scares/kill scenes/special effects.

Heh. I have every Saw movie on DVD and/or Blu-Ray.

As far as your list goes, I have seen (and enjoyed) a few of them.

The Godfather
The Godfather Part II
Pulp Fiction
The Lord of the Rings
The Shining (I'm assuming this is the 1980 version)
Kill Bill
Psycho (1960 or 1998? Either way, I've seen it)
Jaws
The Silence of the Lambs
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Alien
Aliens
Inglourious Basterds (GREAT fucking movie. :D)
Serenity
Die Hard
Shaun of the Dead
Dogma
Star Wars
The Empire Strikes Back

I didn't pay didly squat. My husband did. He was the one who wanted to see it.

He owes me...or we can say he used up one of the coupon's I made for him.
