My husband Mother In Law and I went to see the symphony yesterday and I wore jeans. Why? Cause it was the Star Wars in concert.
It was held at the Toyota Center and since we didn't know how to get to it. Will's mother used her new phone with a GPS...and it started to get annoying. It would not shut up after we reached the place.
It was pretty casual and a handful of people, mostly kids, dressed up as some of the characters.
After we entered we walked around the displays until it got too crowded and we had to hold each other's hands and wer pressed against a wall. Now I know what it's like to be at a big con.
We had to take an elevator to get to the nose bleed section and when we got to our section we stared down at the steps that took us to the bottom of the nosebleed area. Holy crap those steps were steep, lukcy we were at the very back row so we did not have to go down any steps.
We got some food. I got a hot dog and a Sprite and shared the fries with Will since the food is pricy.
The music was wonderful and there was a large screen behind the orchestra that showed scenes from all the movies. Everytime they showed Han, my mother in law whooped...mostly to embarras her son.
Anthony Daniels was there to narrate it. Very good concert.
Today the sky dumped water on us, not rained just dumped buckets and buckets of water. I'm on day shift for at least a week...money! I had to leave a little early because I schedualed an appointment with my OB about my rash and as I was making the appointment some jackass that was parked in the row in front of me backed up and bumped into my car, and then drove off. Dipshit.
I got more blood taken and was told to get some hydrocortisone cream and to take allergy pills as well. Zyrtec for the morning and Benadryl at night. I'm going to check back on Friday. They have my results from my glucose test. All is good except I'm slightly anemic.
