Remember the fallen

Happy Memorial Day.

Remember those had died in the wars, remember those who were injured, think of thos who are still deployed in the middle east.

Right now, I'm wearing a Buddy Poppy in my hair, and remembering why the veterans' organizations hand out poppies for Memorial Day - "In Flanders fields the poppies blow between the crosses, row on row..." - World War I.

There are two fellows from my church who are in the Middle East right now, and my Honorary Li'l Brother's best Army buddy is going to Iraq, again.

IMHO, there can't be too many reminders of what today is really about. Thanks.
