Already the shipping is serious business with the Makorra fans bashing and hating on Asami because she caused Mako to see hearts and they are dating.

I'm just going to be over in the corner happily shipping Korrasami, because 'awesome ladies' and 'why not?', and ignore that whole mess.

Idk, I really hope the series avoids getting into jealousy/love triangle nonsense to fuel these budding ship wars. Also, Asami is cool and pretty and haters need to back off.

It doesn't help that Nick's own commercials and adverts are giving away massive spoilers that are fueling the fire.

Mike and Bryan LIKE trolling the fandom, they did it a ton with Zutara back in the day, as far back as before season 2 even aired.

And did an entire chibi short based around love octahedrons.

Exactly. Bolin gave Korra a flower and some cake, not that I'm a Bolin/Korra shipper yet. I just thought that was sweet.

For now. Just really, really want the series to not do anything more, in future episodes(and advertising, for that matter), to encourage the whole shipping wars thing(not that it will keep them from happening, but no fanning the flames!).

Like, I really want to enjoy this awesome show about Korra, and her growing group, being awesome and righting wrongs and learning from mistakes and whatnot... without all the fandom character hate because of who ends up with who.
