So for a while the big debate in the Scifi geekverse is which captain do you prefer: Kirk or Picard?

gregx the bigger debate is which Scifi TV series captain is the best and it boils down to these two.
Captain Malcolm Reynolds of Firefly or Captain John Sheridan of Babylon 5. How the heck do I choose between the two and how can I choose?
I have weight both of them in my mind on various factors. How well do they fight, how well do they act as the role of the captain, their witty dialogue, their levels of baddassery, their hilarious moments, their crowning moments of heartwarming, their hotness levels.
Yes I can't even decide which is hotter.
I'm sure the decision is easier for some than others but for me this is my geek struggle in the brain.
