spacebabie | Rough day.

Woke up ten minutes before five. Will gave Kaitlin a little Pedialyte before the cut off at five. She was not allowed her usual bottle after midnight and nothing at all after five.

At six my Mother in Law came and we went off to downtown children's hospital. There was a brief stop at a McDonald's where we got some breakfast.

Parking is strange. We got this plastic chip thing and we parked in a purple area in row D...wich looked like a 6 at that time in the morning.

We went to the blue area of the hospital where we filled out some paperwork, then they took some vitals and then we went to a different waiting room with rocking chairs. I signed some more paperwork.

Then the doctor took her and we went back to the main waiting room. This was about nine fourtyfive. My poor kid was so hungry by this time.

They did the surgery wich was a little poke hole in the back of her heel to straighten out the tendon. While the surgery was performed I did some sketching and doodles.

We got called back to the recovery room. After Kaitlin woke up I gave her some more Pedialyte. Then we got a perscription for her and went home.

We stopped by Wendys on the way. I got the Bacon Blue burger. That is sooo good. Then we dropped of the script at Walgreens near Kaitlin's grandparents home. Once home and after she woke up I gave her usual bottle. She drained the whole thing.

She got her medicine shortly after and then I took a two hour nap while Grandma tended to her. I was informed she threw up a little bit afterward.

Now she is sleeping again.
