Kaitlin got to spend a day with her grandparents while Will and I had a day out.
We had lunch at Grimaldi's. Hmmm best pizza ever. We had a large with sweet red peppers, pepperoni and black olives and finished it off with a slice of Bailey's cheesecake that we shared.
Then it was off to the movies. We saw Alice in Wonderland.
I love the adult Alice. She's a bit like me in the easily distracted department and having a vivid imagination. I also like her because she is a woman ahead of her time. She refused to wear a corset and stockings.
Loved the visuals and the characters. The Doormouse was fierce. The Knave was not a character that I was expecting but was amazing and a bit creepy when he tried to come on to Alice.
I really loved the Chesire Cat and of course the Hatter. Johnny was amazing as him and there is no way anyone can convince me that he and Alice would not make a great couple
