Spiders

This is not an OMG EWWW or me being girly and screamy about them. Hell I've held and pet a tarantula named Joan.

I am just curious about a certain spider that makes it's home outside, next to the back door between the top of the trashcan and the bottom of the roof of our minuture porch.

It's an orb weaver. That is one thing that is certain, but it only makes it's web at night and when the sun rises it takes it down.

I wonder what kind of orb weaver it is. I know several keep their webs up during the day, but this only has it out at night.

We've had several orb weavers over the years. I consider them very lucky to have around. I've never heard of one that keeps rebuilding its web like that though. Odd.
