Definitely better than the first and third film.
Wolverine's true first name is not Logan, that's is last name. His first is James and he is Victor Creed's half bro. It started out with James discovering the truth about his father and his powers coming into play. He and victor ran off and during the opening credits you see both brothers fight through various wars from the American Civil War to Vietnam.
After surviving an execution the get recruited by Colonel William Stryker. I loved Stryker in the second movie. He was such a cold bastard, a great villain, but this Stryker was even more coniving and backstabbing. He ordered Sabertooth to hunt down the former members of his military mutant group and made it look like he killed James's wife. All the while he had told James that Sabertooth had gone psychotic, just so that he can get James to go under the Mutant X operation to get the adamantium fused to his skeleton.
This was all of course Stryker's scheme for his Deadpool project. Stryker even killed his commanding officer when the general felt they have crossed the line.
and oh the nakedness. Shirtless Logan, Lumberjack Logan and Naked Logan on the run.
Remy! Oh I loved Gambit. He was so suave and a skilled fighter.
Logan: Are you Remy Lebeau
Gambit: Does he owe you money?
Logan: No
Gambit: Then I am Remy
Emma was in this movie.
oh and the twists. Realizing Kayla Silverfox was not killed and pretended to be dead so that Logan thought she was, but her love was true.
Charles Xavier at the end and played by Patrick Stuart, complete with CGI face lift.
and the sadness. Logan getting shot in the head and losing his memories, and Kayla dying.
and there is Deadpool. He was a tricky player. I'm not too familiar with the character and the only thing I really know about him is that image of him force feeding meatloaf to vegetarians.
