Dear God I did something I never thought I'd do.


I defended something Twilight based.

I found this through one of my Watch Friends. Her cousin posted a drawing of movie based Edward and Bella. It was a realistic drawing and pretty good.

The first comment the poor kid got was from a jerk who basically called the drawing a terrible picture based on a terrible movie and book.

Now I don't want to read the book or see the movie. I've read the abridged version via shinga and I have read the original sparkly paragraph that made me want to smack Meyers for raping a thesaurus and I also plan on doing some parody art like shinga

Since I'm not a fan I don't go seeking out fanart or fanfic based on it. I just look at art and read fics based on the fandoms I like and I offer concrit and ask a few questions if I'm not clear on something.

Here is my response to the twit

Ok that's uncalled for. I'm not a fan of the book or the movie, but I don't go around to fanart of movies, books TV series etc of what I don't like and to flame the artist, and yes that is a flame. There is a difference between constructive criticism and a flame.

But then again you are probably a troll.

::grins:: and just to make you ill.. I'm a fan of both movie and books :) However, I'm also a fan of other middleschool/ young teen age literature, so it happens.

::grins and pretends to wipe away foam at mouth:: Nah, not rabid. And unlike about 50% of the people who -do- go rabid either for or against I give credit that it IS written for a teen audience not adults, so it's not overly mature / deep content.
