I made fries last night. Usually when I have fries I just open a bag, but since I plenty of potatoes I just cleaned them off, cut them into strips and fried them up. They turned out great.
Today I made an omelette. I'm usually good at those. I'm better at them now than when I still with my folks, but then again all my frying pans have teflon. I wanted to have one cause Alton Brown made them the other day. I mixed in parsley, basil, and oregano into the eggs and before I slid the eggy dish off the skillet I sprinkled in some parmesean cheese and after the final fold drizzled on a little olive oil.
I am getting over my fear of frying, although when I cooked the fries last night my main fear came true. I used a little vegetable oil and my fear is that with all that sparking greasing it would strike me, and it did on the hand while I was stirring the fries now. It only hurt for a few seconds and didn't leave a burn behind though.
Now I'm going to be lazy and just have some Spaghetti-os...although I will mix in some spices.
