spacebabie: River Tam and James Norrington...used when I write crossovers. (Default)
I was at Target yesterday, just enjoying my day off and right off the bat got myself a blue raspberry icee, so while I shopped and slurped.

First place that I came by was Entertainment section and went to the family movies and found a movie I enjoyed as a child and didn't have in my video library: The Neverending Story.

I also found 5 pack of spiralbound notebooks for fifty cents. Great deal. I use them for writing and drawing.

While I was in the process of turning my tongue blue I passed by the toy aisle and there was the section that had these cool plastic figurines. There dragons, unicorns, winged horses, elves, faries, and humans dressed up like they did back in the crusades. Awsome. I had to get myself a little Eastern dragon.

Then I stoppped off at jewelry and bought a new cross pendant.

Went home and cooked a good dinner. I combined a can of peas and carrots with some Velveta pasta and cheese with and then in a bowl I mixed some crunched up potato chips, tunafish, spices, and an egg then fried them up in little patties.

Movies.

Besides indulging in Neverending Story we watched Little Miss Sunshine and Planet Terror this past week.

Little Miss Sunshine was good. I loved the characters and how they bonded as a family that put the fun in dysfunctional.

I was expecting Planet Terror to be gory since it was a zombie flick and it was gonna be cheesy bad on purpose cause of how it was supposed to be made like the ole grindhouse flicks.

zombies were cool. The were more like the resident evil mutant zombies all covered in boils. They didn't wuss out either with this one, dead kids and dogs. I was expecting lots of blood and dismemberment. I was not expecting to see huge pustles burst and and squirt people with goo, nor did I expect to see Quentin Tarantino's dick melting off. I kid you not
