I was one of those who didn't participate.
I may not have posted but I have replied to others.
I knew it wasn't going to make much difference, but I will not begrudge those who wanted to prove a point, unlike a certain group of people in an off topic snark community who decided to spam the hell out of the day.
Now if those spammers were doing something against a group like Operation Pink I would have been all four it.
I agree that LJ is a buisness and the people who own it can run it their way, however a buisness is only as strong as their customer base...and the LJ staff has had pretty shitty customer service as of late. It wouldn't hurt to realy big noticable changes to their customers as well as consult. The interests thing was a bad idea. They have rectified it, but why did they hide those interests in the first place? Well that just boggles the ole noodle.

It is their buisness. They get to make the desicions, but they really need to listen to their user base.
