Forget his original post, just read his replies to the others. Ya know some people thought seven seasons of Buffy were enough and want to write based on that. He made another post in the community earlier where he stated that if you are not reading the comics then you are not a Real fan.

I'm not planning on reading season 8 myself. I think it is cool that Joss is on the same wavelength as Greg Weisman...what was that saying about Great minds again? I wish he had done a 6th season of Angel instead...or even better, More Firefly.

There's a few people like this in the "Gargoyles" fandom... they're the ones who demand that we all accept The Goliath Chronicles as canon.

I've met so many fans that are like that (they're practically in every fandom). Mostly I meet the type who get rabid if you do anything against canon.

I'm actually looking forward to reading the Buffy comic, later probably than sooner when it's out as a trade paperback. But having said that, to get disproportionately annoyed because other people can't or don't chose to include the new canon stories in their ficverse is just silly.

Damn WB for cheating us of the sixth season! I had heard they signed on for a sixth season a few months before the WB decided to cancel Angel.
