Pairings: Norrington/ Gillette
Notes: My first Gilletton. I'm starting to really get into this pairing. I tried to keep it at a drabble, but it didn't work out that way.
Setting: Between the first two movies
The Ring
James Norrington found the ring on his desk. It was silver with two hands holding a crown topped heart. He knew it had to be a gift and there was no question as to who it was from. There was only one person he knew who would give him such a gift.
He wore it the next day during the morning drills, and not one took any real notice to it, except for one man.
“Morning sir,” Andrew Gillette greeted his commodore. “I see you have a new ring.” He said in a coy matter.
“I believe you may know something about it, lieutenant.” James said while resisting the urge to smile.
“I do and I see you are wearing the heart towards you.”
“Considering where we stand, it is the correct way.”
