What is with the GFA

3 times I tried to upload m latest fic I get this

Only plain text-files (*.txt) and HTML-files (*.htm, *.html) allowed, story not added!

I saved the fic as both html and htm. Is it only having problems with fics written in Word?

That can't be it because Precautions was also written in Word.


I wonder if there is aproblem with the fanfic archive, a few days ago the stories couldn't be accessed.

I think I remember getting that error message a long time ago but don't remember what the fix was. I think I just tried it again and it worked. But the archive has been getting a little loopy lately, like when trying to put any kind of quotation marks in the title of your story gets a slash by each one (I've even seen it in actual story text as well).

Oh I remember that error message. When I uploaded my stories (a long, long time ago in a galaxy far away), it gave me the same error message. I just kept trying and trying until they finally got added.

The biggest problem with the GFA is it's been using the same outdated code for the past half a decade, and I don't think anyone is ever going to revamp it like they keep promising.

Its been nearly three years since they removed the voting system due to the spiker, don't know any news of a revamped version.
