stuff stuff stuff
Dec. 31st, 2006 01:03 pmIt was great to see the old homestead again and my folks.
On Thursday the whole family went to a Thai restaurant for their 35th anniversary. I tried iced Thai tea, very nice and sweet. It was good food and my brother ordered a special dessert for everyone. Ice cream served on sticky rice and topped with peanuts. The sticky rice was like a rice pudding.
I got everything packed away long before I went to the airport, line for the x-ray scanner was long.
The flight was delayed due to the Houston weather, got to see lightening clouds beneath us.
Landing was bumpy, managed to get some food into my system before bed and then up for work.
slai Got your card. It is really pretty. Thank you.
Did some more opening gifts last night after work. My family got Revel a lot of gift cards and a U2 CD. From Revel I got Dead Man's Chest and a Jack Sparrow Bobble head, from his family I got a pretty purple shirt with a sweater vest, another cat calender from his grandmother...and a new coffee maker Huzzah!
Spending New Years EVE doing laundry.
