Pina Colada

I had a pina colada last night.

Not jsut any pina colada, but one made with rum, Goya coconut milk and some pineapple from the front garden.

We have another one growing as well. When I hacked off the ripe on there was a grasshopper in it, a huge one. It looked like a locust type grasshopper and brought to my mindthe time my father caught a huge grasshoppper...and fed it to afriend's tarantula.

back to the pineapple. Not as bigs as the ones you buy in the store....but it was so sweet and juicey. I'm going to put some on vanilla ice cream later.

Ten years ago - August, 1995

I was a cluelesss highschool graduate who is still feeling the happy buzzabout graduating, taking some community college courses and enjoying my firsttrip out of the country

I discovered this thing called the intarweb and tested out the waters in chat rooms. I wasalso employeed at my first real job.

Eight years ago - August, 1997

I had my first Online friends. I was looking forward to a little get together that would happen in Octover. I would be the youngest and still a few weeks too young to participate in any drinkinggame

Seven years ago - August, 1998

I was active in M.A.R.S club, had a sweet boyfriend (we slowly drifted apart). Pleased that we were actually getting some rain after an el nino related drought and startedto really get into anime

Six years ago - August, 1999

I have an A.A. but deicded to take a nice break before going to UCF. I started to post in the TGS Comment room and met a lot of cool people. Sadly I lost my grandmother.

Five years ago - August, 2000

I went to my first gathering and met a lot of my Online friends. I also made a good deal of money that summer watching the neighbor's children a few days a week.

Four years ago - August, 2001

I was diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder. I started Therapy and started on Celexa. The shirtstorm came next month.

Three years ago - August, 2002

My brother was planning on moving out. I started to get a hold of my main Gargoyles Fanfic saga and I began instant messenger conversations with Revel.

Two years ago - August, 2003

I got engaged to Revel and began my last semster at UCF. I startedto get the hang of public transportation.

One year ago - August, 2004

Road tripped to Montreal with a great bunch of friends. Came home to find a hurricane wrecked my yard and I would have to endur two more storms that year.

Now - August, 2005

I'm still a bit clueless but I think I know how I'm going to handle my future. My brother moved back and I'm looking forward to moving out and getting a place with Revel. After Katrina I am greatful those three storms last year, were not stronger.
