Here I am deciding what to get my mom for mother's day and where can I buy it. I don't have a car so I could drive.
We do have a strip mall at the front of the suburban area. I decided to walk up there. I used to walk up there when I was in middle school and highschool and hung out with my friends at McDonalds. I used to walk up to the store to do my shopping in the past.
Didn't seem so bad at first. I took the shortcut that cut right through the development and I made it back in good time, but this was under a late afternoon sun with plenty of muggyness.
This was strange. I nearly had a musical moment as I walked past the apartments because that was were there used to be a few baseball fields. I felt like I was about to burst out in song about my childhood, but because I didn't want to punish anyone with my horrible singing I kept my mouth shut.
By the time I returned I was hot thirsty, my knees hurt and the ladies were sweating buckets.....
Now I'm cooling down with the AC and a tall glass of Tarantula strawbery margarita. Tastes like a Hawaiian punc with tequila.
