Good Mother's day
May. 9th, 2004 07:33 pmStared it off by letting her sleep in.
Gave her presents.
I gave her a new pair of sleepwear, because that is what she usually wears when she is not working.
***CUTE DOG MOMENT***
As we are giving her presents Patch walks in the bedroom with a rawhide chewbone in his mouth. He sets it down on the floor near Perdita. She's a mother too. We had to put down one of her son's last november but we know two of her other pups are still alive in the sub divsion and we are hoping the other two are alive and well in their homes.
Went out to eat at a place called Crazy grill. It is the only Brazilian resteraunt in town. My mother and I order drinks that are like margaritas but they have sugar on the bottom and you have to stir them up.
First we grabbed the large plates and got our veggies and grains.
Then the waitors walk around with skewers of different meat and slice a piece off and put it on your meat plate. They had 12 different skewers in all 11 was meat and one was garlic bread, also cooked on the spit. They even had chicken hearts on the skewer!!!!
When you had enough you flipped this little wooden thing over.
At the end of the meal my father tried an espresso and I had some coconut flaun. They even gave us a compliment Brazilian chocolate.
