spacebabie: River Tam and James Norrington...used when I write crossovers. (Default)
Autumn came down from Irving on Friday and yesterday we went to Ren Fair. Need to mark down another first for Kaitlin.

Kaitlin enjoyed herself. She got pushed around in the stroller and got to see a lot of neat things and she got all the attention she wanted. She was in a real giggly mood when she was fed as well and near the end of the trip she conked out.

Got to see a lot of nice costumes. There were no centaurs this year though and no goblins, orcs or Ents. There were a lot of fairies and elves and one guy had vamp fangs.

I was attracted to places that sold a lot of shiny things...jewelry, things made out of glass and pewter...etc and anything that might had unicorns, dragons, pegasoi. Will got me a floral circlet for me to wear and a scented wax stuffed animal. They stuffed critters and soak them in scented wax. The one I chose was a winged unicorn.

They also had some handmaid leather journals. Autumn got one. I thought about it but I probably could find something cheaper at a book store...or I could make my own. I did take a class at UCF on how to do that.

When we were done I was drained. I was nodding off in the ride home. We stopped at a Mcdonalds and after I ate it was even harder to stay awake. We stopped at Will's parents so Will could help them install an oven and then we went home where I took a two hour nap. Woke up after nine and stayed up for a few hours and then went to bed at one and slept until my brother called me around eleven. I don't even know what he wanted to say. All I heard was background noise.
