Tomorrow is Kaitlin's surgery. Gotta wake up real early for that.
Took Kaitlin for a walk yesterday and it was a bit chilly so I put her in this little panda outfit that has the mits at the ends of the sleeves and panda booties at the end of the legs and a panda hood. She did not like it. Why? cause she could not move. It was like Randy in a Christmas Story after the mother dressed him in so many layers. Kaitlin hates to be restrained. After the walk was done I got her out of it.
And since she hates being reastrained she fussed a lot while we were heading to Florida and coming back.
Stuff that calmed her down.
-food. Sometimes it was in bottles, sometimes it was baby food, sometimes it was her teething cookies and other times it was those hash brown cakes from McDonalds.
-clean folded up diapers. I can't explain it but she loves holding them.
-her toys...but not for long.
-my hand and rubbing her belly. This usually got her to go to sleep.
-and of course sleep.
