When I get older, but tomorrow means that I also get a cake, and cake is good.
September was another milestone. Spooky turned 10 sometime during that month. I know that was when we got her.
Dad told me he had a special project for me at home when he took me home from night class,
Mom was in my room, watching Voyager, and it was the first episode with Seven, and in her lap was a little tortoise shell kitten. She was abandoned in the grocery store and mom brought her home.
She had ear mites, an eye infection and she was congested. I made sure she got something to eat and drink that night, and a few days later we took her to the vet, got her checked out. The medicine helped and she got better.
I asked the people on the X-files boards what would be a good name for her. I wanted something to do with Halloween since she had the colors. They suggested Spooky.
Now she is a big ole puff, never did loose that snaggle tooth look. When she sleeps on her back she looks like a vampire.

My Spooky (that's her in the icon) also turned 10, this spring!
