The big and main cast came off and they put a smaller cast on that will have to stay on for four weeks. She can bend her knee and she is pretty pleased with that. I've been cleaning away the dead skin that had collected under the cast around her knee and applying plenty of lotion.

Kaitlin can also clap now.

I came across a recipe for a Portuguese chicken dish and made that.

yay for the cast! D: omg. the one thing that made me the happiest when i got my cast of was being able to CLEAN that casted off limits area. >_
