2 signs of Spring

I woke up around seven thirty this morning to the sound of birds chirping outside my window. I look outside and see two bright red cardinals in the tree.

Another sign spring is around the corner: When I went to let the dogs outside I noticed something on the surface of the pool. A thin coating of pollen. That is going to be hard to clean.

It has been unseasonably cool down here. The temp had dropped tto the fourties overnight. Right now though it's cool and breezy in the upper sixties and lower seventies. We have the ac turned off and the door open with the screen door closed and bolted.
